Ontario Fabricator Adds Huge Waterjet Machine

Boasting a 24- by 14-ft. worktable, a new waterjet-cutting machine installed at China Steel, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, “opens up a whole new world for us, because there are so many things we are able to do,” says company vice president Carlo China. The machine stars a 100-hp 90-ksi waterjet system from Jet Edge; China Steel is a custom fabrication and machine shop offering machining, milling, bending, cutting, robotic welding and other services.
