Miller Electric Mfg. Co., Appleton, WI, introduced Fabtech 2010 attendees to its new Axcess E with Insight, an advanced gas-metal-arc-welding (GMAW) welding power supply that includes fully integrated data-monitoring capability. The
Axcess E with Insight uses Ethernet technology and the factory network system to interface with each welding system and transfer data. Critical machine functions and settings can be monitored and adjusted by any manager with local or remote access to the factory network. And, welding professionals can monitor command values and actual welding results, and perform diagnostic functions.
