Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI, has delivered a high-speed oscillating shear die to MISA Metal Blanking, Birmingham, AL, a steel-service center that provides Class A blanks to the automotive industry. The unit stamps trapezoidal and parallel-shaped blanks in the firm’s existing blanking press, and features wedge-type blade-gap adjustment. Line speed tops out at 300 ft./min. and hit rate peaks at 65 strokes/min.
