Green coil-coated materials and lubricants

Chemcoaters LLC, Gary, IN, has published a brochure describing the “green advantage” from using its coil-coated metal-alloy products and its dry-film lubricants. The firm supplies environmentally friendly waterborne coatings and lubricants. Acrylic dry-film lubricants described in the brochure have a low coefficient of friction—0.04 to 0.10—that the company says enables the forming of parts that would not normally form, or would be difficult to form with typical wet lubricants.
