Automated hardware insertion

A brochure from Haeger, Inc., Oakdale, CA, catalogs the firm’s fastener-insertion equipment—models for nearly every type and size of self-clinching fastener on the market. The Model 824 WindowTouch-3, for example, with the turret-insertion system, enables the insertion of as many as four different fasteners in one handling. Specs are provided for five machines with force range from 250 to 16,000 lb., throat depth from 12 to 24 in., and throat height from 13.75 to 17 in. Also illustrated in the brochure are Haeger’s robotic solutions for customized automation applications. Several testimonials from fabricators around the world are included, to further illustrate how the machines improve productivity and quality.
