Exceptionally Short Inductive Proximity Sensors
September 1, 2008Comments
Balluff Inc., Florence, KY, has developed the SuperShorty family of exceptionally short inductive proximity sensors. These sensors can be installed in cramped areas where inductive sensors usually cannot fit. Their low mass enables abrupt acceleration and deceleration on dynamic, fast-moving equipment without adding excessive inertial load. The SuperShorty line has been designed for high-speed pick-and-place equipment, miniature grippers, linear slides, miniature valves, compact actuators and other compact precision mechanisms.
