Metal-Finishing Job Shop Acquires Compound-Blending Business

Mechanical Finishing, Inc., a cleaning and deburring job shop in Cincinnati, OH, acquired the chemical-compound blending and spare-parts business of Rosemont Industries, also of Cincinnati. Mechanical Finishing will make and distribute burnishing soaps, cleaners, abrasives and rust inhibitors previously developed and sold under the Rosemont name.
The firm also will manufacture all of the spare parts for Rosemont vibratory finishing machines and cob dryers, including drive systems, bearings, screens and drains.
