The model 55MW industrial vacuum cleaner from Vac-U-Max, Belleville, NJ, increases coolant life and extends machine tool-filtration systems by cleaning fluids and removing metal chips and swarf at 60 to 120 gal./min.
With the turn of a lever, the vacuum cleaner pumps out liquid contents of the drum through the discharge hose to a central filtration system for coolant/oils or approved floor drains to 14 gal./min.
Dual swivel casters makes the 26-in.-wide unit simple to move, and its compact size allows shops to move it close to machine tools and sumps, keeping vacuum hoses as short as possible.
