Beckwood Press Co., St. Louis, MO, has developed a
hydraulic tank-head forming press with a multi-ram design. The press can be customized for a range of specifications, including tonnage, bed size, speed and stroke. It is equipped with independently controlled clamp and draw rams, and features a customer-specified bed cushion that can be engineered for standard or dynamic cushion control. The cushion control includes independent travel zones using a recipe function on a PLC interface.
