Prima Named Best Performing Italian Company

Laser-machinery manufacturer Prima Industrie S.p.A., with U.S. headquarters in Chicopee, MA, earned best performing Italian public company status in an independent study performed by global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney.
Prima placed second of all large companies in the industrial machinery sector, reported Italian media sources La Stampa and Il Mondo. Rankings are based on sales growth and total shareholder return for the period 2004 to 2008.
