Baumer Ltd., Southington, CT, has introduced DLRx load cells, designed to measure force in harsh industrial environments. Featuring IP65/IP67 protection and stainless-steel housings, the load cells deliver rapid dynamic signal processing and accuracy to 0.3 percent. Compact in sizes as small as 32 mm dia., the load cells are ideal for   installation in limited-space environments. They can be used in static or dynamic applications and are well-suited for force measurement, weight measurement and force monitoring.

Offering ideal transverse sensitivity by compensating for noncentrally applied forces, the load cells offer accurate force absorption and precise, low-noise dynamic signal processing during all measuring applications. These sensors can be used to measure compression and tension/compression over the entire conventional force range of 0.5 to 100 kN.
